As a parent, you know that teaching your children healthy eating habits is important for their future. The things you teach them at a young age stay with them for the rest of their lives. It should never be late to implement good eating habits in your home, but the earlier you start, the better.

When at the grocery shop try to stick to buying whole foods. If you buy packaged food, read the label first to make sure it has high levels of nutrients and low fat and sugars. Always avoid buying packaged processed food. It is easy to buy healthy food. It's getting them to eat it that's the difficult part.

Studies have shown that the more a child is exposed to a certain food, the more likely they are to eat it. Introduce healthy food to them at a young age, then keep introducing them as time passes. Over time they will get used to the idea of eating it.
